Miniature Linear Stages / Miniature Linear Stages with Ultsasonic Piezo Motor

When working on positioning jobs that require a little amount of space, miniature stages are crucial. Due to their direct drive design, piezomotor products like Q-motion®, PIline®, and PiezoWalk® enable the most compact stages.

The use of PI stages with electromagnetic motors in automation activities is widespread and well-established. Inquire about customisation!

The dynamic range of ultrasonic motors is quite vast, ranging from microns/second to hundreds of millimeters/second, with very quick start-stop behavior. Compact piezo ceramic elements are the foundation of both linear and rotary ultrasonic motors, which operate at high frequencies between 10 and 100 kHz, well above human hearing range. A linear or rotary ceramic surface attached to a linear runner or rotary platform receives nanoscopic motion with each oscillation cycle.
